Q: I would like to know if the machine will run OK with a standard A-BAR and the Approximate running voltage also if it can be setup for a long or short throw and the maximum needle grope the machine can handle?

A: Yes you can run a standard A-Bar, they usually run loaded with rubber band, needle and tube at 7 1/2 volts and you can do long or short throws, it depends on how you want it set up, that is determined by how you bend your springs. Maximum needles would be 22 mag's.
